The World Peace Corps Academy-Megaversity operates as a single academic institution for the world, and thoroughly trains its faculty members. Here are some key features of the Academy:
1. Sends out professors to wherever students may be located, as long as there
are at least 12 students present.
2. Education takes place in convenient locations other than fixed classrooms.
3. Education is provided in the spirit of receiving hospitality from the local
community.
4. The Academy employs a friendly approach to comparative religion studies.
5. The Academy encourages various forms of education, such as assisting
those in need, environmental conservation, safety education, disaster
management education, technical education, and resilience training.
6. The Academy is operated with a focus on missionary communication officers
at all levels.
7. After internal education and training, the Academy awards graduation
certificates, qualifications certificates, and ordination certificates free of
charge.
Our Story
The World Peace Corps Academy-Megaversity (WPCAM) is a tax-exempt non-profit corporation registered with the US government in Washington, DC, in 1989. It was jointly established and reformed in 1989 by Dr. Hon. Robert Leggett, a former Senior Member of the House of Representatives in the USA with nine terms, and a legal advisor to President John F. Kennedy for 16 years, and Dr. Han Min Su.
The WPCAM was founded as a voluntary service organization for the benefit of all humanity, based on President John F. Kennedy's bill for the US Peace Corps Volunteer Service. This bill was the subject of the legislation titled "US Peace Corps Volunteer Service," proposed by President Kennedy in 1961.
The historical legacy of the aforementioned co-founders was succeeded by a renowned world-class biblical theologian, Dr. Ezra HS., Kyung, on December 31, 2015.
Furthermore, among the 15 existing registered corporations with the governments of the United States, Israel, and South Korea, the World Peace Corps Foundation (WPCM) Inc., World Peace Prize Awarding Council Inc. (WPPAC), and World Peace Corps Academy-Megaversity (WPCM) Inc. will be consolidated into a total of 24 expanded corporate entities. These corporations will be placed under the umbrella of Dr. Kyung's World Peace Corps Foundation, which will be registered with the government of Washington, D.C., United States, in 2024.
Historical Origins
In 1961, the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, and Dr. Robert L. Leggett, the Senior member of the United States House of Representatives who had supported him for 16 years, inaugurated an independent federal agency called the Peace Corps Volunteer Service Inc. in the United States of America.
However, with the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963, the complete realization of the objectives of the Peace Corps Volunteer Service in the United States was not achieved. The execution of the legislation and the continuation of its mission were handed over to Dr. Robert L. Leggett, who had composed and introduced the bill.
In 1981, during the inauguration of President Ronald Reagan, Dr. Robert L. Leggett, who had met Dr. Han Min Su (small works in 2019) and Dr. Han Min Su (small works in 1997), established the World Peace Corps Movement by restructuring the ideology and practical approach of the Peace Corps Volunteer Service Inc. in the United States of America. On November 22, 1989, he founded the World Peace Corps Academy (WPCA) and registered it as a non-profit educational institution with tax-exempt privileges in the government of Washington, D.C., becoming its first chancellor.
Furthermore, he made efforts to establish numerous World Peace Corps Academy (WPCA) worldwide and ensured an inseparable relationship with the headquarters of the Peace Corps Volunteer Service Inc. in the United States of America. The World Peace Corps Mission (WPCM) has been certified and sustained by the government of Washington, D.C., good standing an excellent position.
Dr. Ezra HS., Kyung, a renowned global theologian who inherited the historical legacy of the founders, expanded the World Peace Corps Academy (WPCA) on April 18, 2011, by establishing the non-profit corporation World Peace Corps Academy-Megaversity Inc., Korea (WPCAM), registered with tax-exempt privileges as a non-profit educational institution under the jurisdiction of the government of the Republic of Korea. He assumed the position of president as the corporation's chairman.
Moreover, in 2024, the World Peace Corps Academy-Megaversity Inc., USA & Korea, registered in both the United States and South Korea, was placed within the World Peace Corps Foundation (WPCF) in Washington, D.C.
