Our Story

The World Peace Corps Mission (WPCM) is a tax-exempt non-profit corporation registered with the US government in Washington, DC, in 1989. It was jointly established and reformed by Dr. Hon. Robert Leggett, a former Senior Member of House of Representative, USA with nine terms and a legal advisor to President John F. Kennedy for 16 years, and Dr. Han Min Su in 1989.

The WPCM was founded as a voluntary service organization for the benefit of all humanity, based on President John F. Kennedy's bill for the US Peace Corps Volunteer Service. This bill was the subject of the "US Peace Corps Volunteer Service" legislation proposed by President Kennedy in 1961.

The historic legacy of the co-founders mentioned above was succeeded to a renowned world class biblical theologian, Dr. Ezra HS., Kyung on December 31, 2015.

Furthermore, the World Peace Corps Foundation (WPCM) Inc., World Peace Prize Awarding Council Inc. (WPPAC), and World Peace Corps Academy-Megaversity (WPCM) Inc., among 15 existing registered corporations with the governments of the United States, Israel, and South Korea, will be persistenced into a total of 24 expanded corporate entities. These corporations will be placed within Dr. Kyung's World Peace Corps Foundation, which will be registered in the government of Washington, D.C., United States in 2024.
